UNI-T UT512 Insulation Resistance Tester

The UNI-T UT512 is a powerful insulation resistance tester designed for high-voltage electrical diagnostics in large motors, generators, transformers, and power systems. It offers selectable test voltages from 500V to 2500V and measures insulation resistance from 0.5MΩ to 100GΩ with high accuracy (±3%+5). Additional capabilities include AC/DC voltage measurement up to 600V and a short-circuit current of less than 1.8mA.

Engineered for reliability and ease of use, the UT512 supports Polarization Index (PI), Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), comparison testing, analog bar graph display, auto-ranging, and a 15-minute timing function. It stores up to 18 measurements and connects to a PC via USB for data analysis. Safety features include high-voltage warning, overload indication, auto discharge, and backlit LCD display.
