UNIT UT505B Handheld Insulation Resistance Testers

The UNI-T UT505B is a professional-grade handheld True RMS insulation resistance tester that merges insulation testing with full multimeter functionality. Designed for advanced diagnostics, it offers selectable test voltages from 50V to 1000V and can measure insulation resistance up to 200GΩ. It also measures leakage current (10μA to 2000μA), general resistance, capacitance, voltage (DC/AC), frequency, and more.

Key capabilities include DAR (Dielectric Absorption Ratio), PI (Polarization Index), resistance ratio calculations, auto discharge, and step voltage testing. It offers both low and general resistance testing with selectable 20mA/200mA current injection, making it ideal for inspecting precision equipment such as motors, transformers, cables, and electrical appliances.

With a 6000-count backlit display, analog bar graph, auto fuse check, and timing features, the UT505B ensures both safety and high accuracy. It’s ruggedly built yet lightweight (630g), and powered by six 1.5V batteries.
