Founded in 1955, Malayan Daching Company started as a manufacturer of Daching, a supplier and repairer of mechanical weighing scales. In 1988, Malayan Daching became the first scale company in Singapore to be accredited with ISO/IEC Guide 25 under SAC-SINGLAS (Singapore Accreditation Council - Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) in the field of Calibration and Measurement. The ISO/IEC Guide 25 accreditation has since been revised into ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Malayan Daching is also an Authorised Verifier for Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments and Oil Dispensing Pumps appointed by SPRING Singapore under the Weights & Measures Programme.
With the advent of technology, Malayan Daching broadened its product line and services to provide electronic scales and balances, process automation such as batch and blend systems, supply of weighing and filling machines and other production backend equipment like dynamic check weighing machines and metal detectors. The company also deals with force measurement instruments and testing machines, powder processing systems, in-line particle size measuring instruments, conveyor components and a wide range of packaging systems including high speed form-fill seal and volumetric measurement machines.
Engineering and Civil Construction is another aspect of Malayan Daching’s business. The company prides itself on its expertise and experience in this area.
