The Origin of Dreams

Pasta Fresca was born of romance, a former diving specialist, Salvatore settled in Singapore after meeting his Singaporean wife. To explore his other love, that is cooking for others, he started his business in 1988 with a simple Italian restaurant of only three tables. The young entrepreneur’s insistence on using the freshest and best ingredients and his legendary friendliness with customers quickly made authentic South Italian food, and Pasta Fresca, into a hit with Singaporeans.

Company Profile

For 25 years, relying on instinct, careful research and fine-tuning his ideas with feedback, Salvatore built on the quick and massive success of his first restaurant to open up six more around Singapore Pasta Fresca restaurants since 1988, which are famous for their friendly atmosphere and have become the Italian restaurant of choice for the local people. His simple but proven formula of fresh food and great service is a true formula for business success.

In 1993, Mr Carecci successfully ventured into Shanghai and opened a few outlets in Hong Mei Lu, Heng Shan Lu and Fang Dian Lu (Pudong). All the restaurants are fully owned and managed under the brand name of Pasta Fresca Da Salvatore.

Today, Pasta Fresca is in a leading and strong position in all its markets, and in good shape to support franchises. Its first franchise outlet is in Tianjin.

Mr Carecci owns production factory in China and Singapore to supply homes, hotels and commercial kitchens with fresh pasta, sauces and imported Italian food products. Pasta Fresca Da Salvatore also built a catering service and provides for occasions like birthday parties, corporate and private events, festive celebrations and weddings.

Pasta Fresca as its name, using the best fresh produce at the lowest prices has guaranteed low direct and variable costs for the business. Everything is made fresh daily. Preservatives or colouring are not used.

The range of restaurant cuisine is extremely broad with over a hundred different combinations. Its team of professional chefs also prepares exclusive menus for special occasions for its customers.
