R.F.Q.

AISI 304L is a low-carbon version of 304 stainless steel, widely known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, and good weldability. The reduced carbon content minimizes the risk of carbide precipitation during welding, which enhances its resistance to intergranular corrosion. This makes 304L particularly suitable for use in environments where welding is required and corrosion resistance is critical, such as in chemical processing equipment, food and beverage industry, medical devices, and architectural applications. Its versatility, combined with its ease of fabrication, makes 304L one of the most commonly used stainless steels worldwide.
