Vacuum Hardening

Vacuum hardening is a process whereby a Vacuum Furnace is used. The product in the furnace is surrounded by a vacuum during the processing. The absence of air prevents oxidation, heat loss and removes contamination. Quick cooling (Quenching) by using Nitrogen. This will result in the product being clean and bright. Our Vacuum Furnace is capable of reaching temperatures of 1200c.
