2083 Plastic Mould Steel
2083 Plastic Mould Steel is a martensitic stainless steel with high hardenability (good wear resistance) and excellent resistance to cold atmospheric corrosion and hot oxidation ( 660ºC). It also has good resistance to chemical products.

Corrosion-resistant plastic mould steel for processing chemically aggressive injection-moulding
compounds, with good polishing and machining properties.

Applications :
Better corrosion resistance than 1.2083. delivered in hardened and tempered condition. Good polishability. Wear-resistant moulds for corrosively acting plastics (like PVC), and mould holders.
