Vertical Hold Down Clamps

DESTACO Vertical Hold-Down Clamps are identified by their vertical handles. These clamps are manufactured with holding capacities of up to 5,000lbf [22,25kN]. The hold-down bar (also called clamping bar) exhibits a minimum 90° opening angle for easy loading and unloading, and can be solid or "U" shaped. The base is straight ("B" version) or flange-mounted (standard version).

Horizontal Hold Down Clamps

The outstanding characteristic of DESTACO Horizontal Hold-Down Clamps is the low height design. Unlike the handle and the hold-down bar of the vertical clamps, those of the horizontal handle toggle clamps move in opposite directions. Horizontal handle toggle clamps are manufactured with solid or "U" shaped hold-down bars and with various mounting options.

Straight-Line Action Clamps

DESTACO Straight-Line Action Clamps are manufactured in a variety of models to accommodate a wide range of load ratings (100-16,000lbf. [445N-71,2kN]). The push/pull handle is easy to operate and moves the plunger of the clamp in and out along its axis. Almost all of these clamps can be locked in two positions, allowing you to use them as either push or pull clamps. Several base mounting options are available. Some models have threaded bodies for thru-hole mounting. Many models also come equipped with DESTACO Toggle Lock Plus®, an innovative safety feature that adds a secondary lock to the clamp to help ensure that the over-center locking condition in maintained and protect against unintentional opening. DESTACO has a wide range of Straight-line Action Clamps in Standard, Precision, Stainless Steel, Threaded Body, and Heavy Duty designs.

Squeeze Action Clamps

Also known as portable, or plier clamps, the jaws of the DESTACO Squeeze Action Clamps are locked automatically when closing, as one or both handles are squeezed against the central position. The jaws of most models are drop-forged in steel and most are supplied with 1 or 2 adjustable spindles. Most medium and heavy-duty squeeze action plier clamps feature the DESTACO trigger release for easy one-hand opening. All forged models are heat-treated alloy steel, machined to close tolerances. Squeeze Action clamps provide quick and flexible clamping.

Pull-Action Latch Clamps

DESTACO Pull-Action Latch Clamps feature a handle that can be moved to place the clamping pull bar (hook) around the opposing latch and pressed down to reach the locked position. Ideal for sealing chamber doors, mold closures, and access doors, the latch clamps provide a powerful closing force, positive holding and convenient operation. These clamps are manufactured with holding capacities up to 7,500lbf. [33,4kN]. Three primary styles are available: Fixed latch type, U-hook type (horizontal and vertical), J-hook type

Several pull-action latch clamps are also available in stainless steel for demanding environments such as food and chemical processing. Many models are also available with DESTACO® Toggle Lock Plus®, an innovative safety feature that adds a secondary lock to the clamp to help ensure that the over-center locking condition in maintained and protect against unintentional opening.
