At the heart of its performance is a large, open-type two-vane impeller and an inner volute casing, both manufactured from high-grade Cast Iron (FC), allowing the pump to easily pass spherical solids up to 1 inch (25 mm) in diameter without clogging. To ensure continuous operation in abrasive environments, the QP-401 is equipped with professional-grade silicon carbide mechanical seals that offer superior resistance to wear and heat.
