Scantruck Engineering was incorporated in April 1984 with Mr Aming Samsi as her Chairman. In the same year she took the Scania Truck, Bus & Marine engine agency and in 1986 the Mitsubishi Forklift Truck followed by Cometto, Fantuzzi (now known as Terex) and a host of other products that can be seen in this website.

She was awarded the ISO 9001-2008 certification in December 2010, OHSAS 18001:2007 certification in January 2011 and BizSafe in Febuarary 2011.

In March 2010 she penned a contract with DAF appointing her as their sole agent.

In the 30 years in operation, she has always advocated the philosophy of providing quality and affordable services to the commercial vehicle and lifting truck market. With this in mind she set out in pursue of working closely with renowned parts suppliers and manufacturers and vigorously training her staff with the capabilities of servicing equipment and reworking virtually all its component thereby assisting end-users to deflate downtime and cost. In addition she invested heavily in infrastructure so as to provide up to date equipment for maximum efficiency.
