We have chosen our operations to be located in South East Asia to position ourselves strategically in the heart of the trade link between Asia and the rest of the world in order to serve the needs of our customers effectively and efficiently. Since then, the group has expanded from Singapore and set its footprints in Malaysia and Australia.

Being a distributor of electronic components, we represent many world-class leading manufacturers of Switching & Linear Power Supply & Adapter (I.T.E. / Medical), Printed Circuit Boards (Rigid / Flex / Rigid-Flex), Transformers (Power, Signal, Toroidal), Power Cords, Cable Harness, LCD Modules, and other inductive components.

Apart from our distribution line, our procurement service offers customers the advantage of expanding their purchasing and sourcing capability without overheads or limitations.

Further enhancing our customers’ experience, we provide value-added services such as PCB Assembly and kitting services.

Management Team

The management team who are also founding members, comprises Engineers and Managers with a total of more than 50 years of experience between them working with various world class multi-national corporations within the electronics manufacturing industry, with experience ranging from design to production and quality management.

1995: Ruyi Resources was established in Singapore to provide a One-Stop Global Procurement Solution to the rapidly growing electronics manufacturing industries in South East Asia.

2000: Acumen Components Sdn Bhd was established in Penang, Malaysia, to cater to the growing demand for procurement solution in the electronics manufacturing industries.

2004: Incorporated Axis International (S) Pte Ltd as a holding company of Acumen Components Group.

2004: Ruyi Resources was renamed to Acumen Components Pte Ltd.

2005: Rep Office was established in Melbourne, Australia.
