This year’s theme, “Building Opportunities, Sustaining Lives,” highlights the event’s commitment to fostering collaboration, advancing innovation, and supporting sustainable growth within the industry.

Simultaneous opening ceremonies were held at the Main Lobby of the World Trade Center Metro Manila and the 2nd Floor Lobby Space of the SMX Convention Center Manila. The ceremonies featured the traditional ribbon-cutting, symbolizing the official opening of WORLDBEX 2026.
The ceremonies were hosted by TV host and personality Apple Grace. In his welcome remarks, Mr. Joseph L. Ang, Founding Chairman of organizing company <a href="http://www.worldbexevents.com" target="_blank">Worldbex Services International (WSI)</a>, expressed his appreciation to the event’s partners, exhibitors, and stakeholders for their continued support in making WORLDBEX a leading industry platform. Mr. Ang also adds that WORLDBEX has, over the past 29 years, “brought together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from across the globe, creating meaningful connections and showcasing the groundbreaking innovations that continue to shape our industry”.
Distinguished guests and VIPs present during the opening ceremonies were given the opportunity to deliver their welcoming speeches, including Hon. Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, City Mayor of Pasay (represented by Chief of Staff Peter Pardo), and Hon. Secretary Cristina Aldeguer-Roque, Secretary of the Department of Tourism (represented by Ms. Myra Paz Valderrosa Abubakar, Undersecretary for the Office of Halal Tourism and Muslim Concerns). 
WORLDBEX is also grateful to Hon. House Speaker Faustino “Bodjie” G. Dy III of the House of Representatives, District Representative of Isabela’s 6th District (represented by Hon. Ferdinand L. Hernandez, Senior Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives), for serving as this year’s keynote speaker. The country’s premier motoring event will take place from April 9 to 12, 2026, with its main exhibition continuing at the World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) while expanding into the PTTC for the first time after eight years.

The last time PTTC served as a secondary exhibition space was during MIAS 2018, held from April 5 to 8. Since then, the facility underwent repurposing and redevelopment into a design hub. Its reopening as part of MIAS 2026 signals a symbolic homecoming for motoring enthusiasts and long-time MIAS visitors who fondly remember the venue as part of the show’s earlier expansions.
With PTTC back in the event footprint, MIAS 2026 significantly increases its exhibition capacity. The additional venue contributes over 3,000 square meters of exhibition floor space, allowing for nearly 100 additional vehicle display slots. The expansion will also house a dedicated food court and several special exhibits designed to further enhance the visitor experience.
To ensure seamless visitor movement between venues, organizers will install a custom-built, fully air-conditioned linkway that directly connects the East Wing Annex tent of the World Trade Center to the PTTC building. The PTTC, strategically located at the corner of Roxas Boulevard and Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue (formerly Buendia Avenue), will also serve as a convenient access point for guests. Visitors exiting PTTC can take advantage of a free shuttle service that will transport them either back to the World Trade Center entrance driveway or to designated nearby parking facilities.

WBF officially launched its silver-year festivities with a momentous MOA Signing Ceremony and Exhibitors’ Orientation held on November 12, 2025, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila—the official venue partner and long-time home of the country’s premier holiday bazaar.
The ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing brought together key sponsors and partners who have been instrumental in sustaining the festival’s success throughout the years.
