At 1993, The company was founded as 100% foreign own agency with the name of Myanmar Media Int’l Advertising Ltd. As a pioneer advertising agency in Myanmar, MMI began rendering services to both local and international clients since February 1994.

MMI was affiliated with world-renowned advertising agency –Leo Burnett (before sanction), has worked out to be one of Myanmar advertising industry’s top and most credible agencies by handling P&G, United Distiller, Philip Morris, etc.…

In 1999, we re-founded as a local own agency according to market needs and the name was also changed as Major Media Int’l Advertising Ltd. In the business field, both names were called with the abbreviation: MMI from the past till now.

Also, in that year, we were invited by Euro RSCG as a share partner to own and run fully operating Below-The-Line Advertising agency in Thailand. Started at 2000 and a year later, they expended to Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Indonesia.
