(Bangkok, November 2024) - Thailand International Woodworking and Furniture Exhibition 2024 (TIWF 2024) premiered successfully in Bangkok, Thailand, from 18th to 20th September 2024 at Southeast Asian’s largest exhibition venue, the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre. 
TIWF 2024 is an international face-to-face exhibition and networking platform to connect and do business with the woodworking and furniture industry in Southeast Asia. It provided a regional industry platform for the industry to expand their networks and foster international collaborations.&nbsp;
The event attracted over 214 exhibiting companies from 20 countries, showcasing their latest technology, machinery, equipment, solutions, materials and know-hows to over 6,286 trade visitors coming from 49 countries. 
A key highlight of TIWF 2024 is its highly successful “Business Matching Program” that facilitated over 340 pre-arranged meetings between exhibitors and over 70 qualified hosted buyers, securing many business and partnership deals and exchanges.&nbsp;

Some of the conference topics included topics such as “Wood Technologies Today”, “Driving Innovation - Future Opportunities in the Thai Wood and Furniture Industry”, “Evolving Trends in Global Demand for Wood Raw Materials”, “Wood Innovation Design for Low Carbon Architecture”, and “Sustainable Woodworking in Furniture Design”.&nbsp;
TIWF 2024 also served as a “skill-upgrade platform” through the conduct of a series of well- attended carpentry masterclasses and workshops that imparted vocational skills and knowledge in furniture-making fundamentals, woodworking finishing techniques and operation of woodworking power tools and equipment.&nbsp;

Once again, BCT Expo 2024 will bring together the entire construction industry community from Thailand and Southeast Asia region to seek business opportunities, networking and knowledge exchange. This year’s event is organized under the theme “The Construction Industry Meeting Place”, and will take up over 5,000 sq. meters of exhibition floor space.
BCT Expo 2024 will see over 150 international and local exhibitors showcasing their latest solutions and technology across 10 construction clusters, ranging from earthmoving and demolition, lifting and handling, road construction, concrete and cement, materials, tools and equipment, digital construction, AI &amp; robotics, construction services to smart facility management. Over 4,000 industry and trade professionals will attend this all-important 3-day event.

Thailand’s construction market is valued at 1.37 billion THB or 7.6% of the country’s GDP in 2023. The market expects to grow at an annual rate of 3% to 4%, driven by public infrastructure projects. There are currently some 108,000 construction companies registered in Thailand, of which 709 companies has the resources to undertake large-scale projects. 
The industry is also facing headwinds and challenges, that include rising costs, labor shortages, tight timelines, hazardous working conditions, strict health and safety protocols, and the need to hasten the adoption of technology to improve productivity while at the same time meet expected net zero emission targets. 
It is against this backdrop that BCT Expo 2024 is organized to act as a bridge for the Thai and regional Southeast Asian construction industry to seek international collaborations and networking, bringing together market-place, ideas, solutions, innovations, and partnerships for its architecture, construction and engineering sectors. 
BCT Expo 2024 will see a series of well-attended conferences and seminars conducted by various international and local industry partners, such as Asia Pacific Assistive Robotics Association, Southeast Asia Construction media, Federation of Thai Industries, Iron &amp; Steel Institute of Thailand, Drone Association of Thailand, Technology Media, PCS Security and Facility Services Limited, just to name a few. 
This year’s conference will touch on wide-ranging construction related topics that will include robotics and AI, smart construction equipment and technology, designs, iron and steel trends, drones in construction, BIM trends, and Smart Facility Management. 
As in previous editions, one of the event’s key highlights is its business- matching program, which will see well over 300 pre-arranged business meetings between key hosted buyers and BCT Expo exhibitors. The aim is to pre-schedule meetings for exhibitors with the right buyers during the exhibition and this program has certainly benefited many BCT Expo exhibitors. 
BCT Expo 2024 will take place at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand from 18th to 20th September 2024. What is on at Thailand’s major international construction exhibition?

(Bangkok, Thailand 13 February 2024) – After a hugely successful 2023 edition last November, DigiTech ASEAN Thailand 2024 – the key international exhibition and networking platform to connect and do business with the global tech and digital community – is all set to return bigger and better in Bangkok, Thailand taking place from 20th to 22nd November 2024.

Organized under the theme “Connecting you with global and digital community”, DigiTech ASEAN Thailand 2024 will see the co-location of a dedicated AI industry event called AI Connect 2024 – “Decoding the Future of AI”, to collectively offer digital and technology companies with an effective platform to reach out to their market sectors. The Southeast Asian (ASEAN) region is expected to be one of the world’s top five regions for digital applications by 2025, with a digital market size of US$500 billion and over 400 million internet users. Thailand’s construction market, valued at around US$ 23.7 billion (2022), is expected to grow between 4.5% and 5% from 2023 to 2024, driven by public mega infrastructural projects and private residential and commercial projects.&nbsp;
It is against the above market backdrop that Building Construction Technology Expo 2023 (BCT Expo 2023) was staged to serve as a key regional construction industry platform that facilitated business opportunities, networking, and knowledge exchanges amongst the construction industry community from Thailand and the surrounding Southeast Asian region.&nbsp;
This regional industry gathering also acted as a bridge for international collaborations and networking, bringing together ideas, solutions, innovations, and partnerships for the architecture, construction and engineering sectors.&nbsp;
One of the event’s key highlights was the business matching program which saw the conduct of over 264 pre-arranged business meetings between key decision makers and exhibitors. “We are extremely pleased with BCT Expo’s business matching program. It enabled us to pre-schedule our meetings with the right buyers at the exhibition. We have certainly benefited from exhibiting at BCT Expo 2023” said Mr. Mike Villamor, Sales and Business Development Manager of Stanza Technologies Pte Ltd. from Singapore.&nbsp;
Mr. Yongyuth Yuadyong, Assistant Manager of Kawasaki Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd., commented that they have had significant numbers of visitors from the stone quarrying sector, and he anticipated that for next year’s event, there will be even more responses from the machinery, vehicle, and equipment sectors.&nbsp;
One of BCT Expo’s machinery exhibitors, Mr. Sirapop Tantitham, Managing Director of O.C.R. Co., Ltd. (XCMG) said “We are impressed with the quality of attendees. We did receive good feedbacks and met our sales and marketing objectives. We are pleased to have the opportunity to showcase our innovative machinery to the market, and look forward to experiencing a bigger presence at BCT Expo 2024.”

Smart Construction was also a key feature at BCT Expo. Mr. Aidan Flynn, CFO of FBR Limited from Australia say, “Exhibiting at BCT Expo 2023 was a great opportunity for FBR as it allowed us to showcase our technology to a new audience and at the same time, understand the Southeast Asian smart construction market. I was also invited to speak at their AIBotics Summit which generated further interest in our Hadrian X® brick laying construction robot.”&nbsp;
Throughout the 3-day exchange, there was general consensus amongst attendees that with Thailand’s public infrastructure construction projects continue to spearhead growth, there will be increased demands for cutting-edge smart construction technology, machinery, equipment, modern materials, and innovations which are necessary to overcome current challenges such as rising costs, labor shortage, tight timelines, hazardous working conditions, strict health and safety protocols, etc.&nbsp;
Therefore, in its next edition in 2024, BCT Expo 2024 will be organized to showcase these demands, while at the same time continues to act as a key regional industry platform under the theme “The Construction Industry Meeting Place”, showcasing a comprehensive range of machinery, equipment, tools, materials, solutions and services to help improve architecture, construction and engineering efficiency.&nbsp;
